PTAN Interagency Meetings 2007PTAN interagency meetings provide a systematic approach to information and resource dissemination to early childhood education/special education leaders statewide. Participation typically includes representatives from early supports & services, preschool special education, Head Start, community mental health, childcare, private agencies and providers, higher education, and parents. Interagency meeting participants learn about training and technical assistance opportunities local and statewide; share information about their programs and services; express concerns and identify challenges; and they brainstorm strategies and create solutions. Interagency meeting participants form partnerships that have direct impact on the programs and services they provide to children and families.
Regional Infant Mental Health Teams 2007
PTAN provides technical assistance and support to a statewide network of fourteen regional infant mental health teams. IMH teams are tasked with the assessment of their community’s early childhood mental health system of care and the creation of community solutions to address barriers and challenges. Each year IMH teams develop an action plan that defines these solutions and they meet regularly to determine implementation strategies. PTAN also facilitates quarterly meetings of the IMH Coordinators, state leaders and project staff for the purpose of information sharing, relationship building and project development. 2007 Regional Teams' Action Plans & Final Reports
